Employees First in the WSJ

Vineet Nayar’s new book, Employees First, Customers Second, has just been named one of the summer’s top business beach reads by the Wall Street Journal’s career site. The book, which details how Nayar, CEO of HCL Technologies, turned the company’s management structure upside by putting employees first, advocates employee empowerment and management transparency. It was also praised by management guru and WSJ blogger, Gary Hamel, who called it an "illuminating" playbook for a new business philosophy and concluded that “it really is possible to change the management DNA in a large, established company — and this is where Vineet’s book really shines.” IPI worked with Nayar to develop Employees First, Customers Second.
